Frequently asked questions
Is Henry really free?
Yes. No ads, no in-app purchases, no paid tier. There’s an optional tip jar in Settings if you want to chip in for hosting costs — it’s strictly voluntary and unlocks nothing.
Can I use Henry on Android?
Not yet. iOS-only at launch. Android is on the post-MVP roadmap but no date.
How do I add my partner?
Open Settings → Caregivers → Invite. Share the link with them. When they tap it and sign in, you’ll both see the same baby profile in real time. You can remove a caregiver at any time from the same screen.
What happens to my data if I delete the app?
Nothing automatically. Deleting the app from your phone just removes the app — your data stays on our servers in case you reinstall.
To delete your data, sign in, go to Settings → Account → Delete account. There’s a 7-day grace period before everything is permanently removed. See the Privacy Policy for details on retention and backups.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Settings → Privacy & data → Export to CSV. You get a single file with every feed, pump, pee, poop, and weigh-in you’ve logged. Take it with you any time.
Why does Henry need notifications permission?
Only if you opt in. Henry can remind you about feeds, pumping sessions, or upcoming pediatrician appointments if you set those reminders in-app. You can decline permission entirely — the app works fine without it.
Does Henry give medical advice?
No. Henry shows ranges from the American Academy of Pediatrics and the World Health Organization, with citations. We never tell you a number is “bad” — only whether it falls inside or outside typical. Anything health-related is paired with a reminder to talk to your pediatrician. See the medical disclaimer.
